An exciting downriver run on the York in an exceptional setting: whitewater and salmon join
the party. The banks of this river hold extraordinary camping sites. It is one of the jewels of
the Upper Gaspé and our clientele keeps coming back for more.

June is the time when nature is effervescent in this part of the Gaspé. Salmon swim up
the York to spawn, seals and whales arrive in Gaspé Bay to give birth and feed their young,
northern gannets perform spectacular aerial displays as they dive to feed on schools of
capelin… For three days, we travel downriver on the crystal clear waters of the York, making
our way through its legendary gorges and pools. The next three days take us from Percé to
Cap-aux-Os by sea kayak (see the description of our classic expedition). A definite must
for adventure seekers.

After a night in a comfortable prospector’s tent or a yurt, we head off to Anse-à-Beaufils,
a small, friendly fishing harbour, where we begin our journey to Percé. Then, we set off to
cross the reaches of Malbaie and Gaspé Bay. The itinerary includes encounters with the
seals on Île Plate and the majestic cliffs of Forillon National Park. The expedition ends at
Aube Aventure where a spa and a delicious meal await.

sea kayaking and sailing

All our expeditions include the services of certified guides, gourmet meals,
the equipment needed for the activity (except for sleeping bags and ground pads)
and transportation from Aube.

transfer or cancel trips if the weather is poor.
